This baby girl was the first birth I ever photographed…how is she two!?!!?!

A lot of the times I believe we, as adult humans, get caught up in the chaotic rustle bustle of life and miss the importance of the small day to day activities….such as baking cupcakes.

To us, it’s no biggie….you probably had a long day at work, you’re tired, you don’t need cupcakes sitting around, you don’t feel like cleaning up the mess, etc. etc. etc.

But these little things are the building blocks of this sweet girls childhood. These are the moments that she will remember and tell her children about. These are the sweet memories that will be hung up on their walls for years and years.

Andrea & Skyler — I was crying while going through these. I’ve told you guys before but I am in awe every time I get to see you two interact as parents.

And then to have the opportunity to document this journey for you guys and look at the expressions on all of your faces….it’s the true essence of life. What you guys make significant in B’s life — a lot of people overlook. I admire the hell out of both of you. And seeing your family interact gives me hope that someday, I can experience the same. I love you both to the freakin moon.

This wasn’t a huge outrageous thing. It’s cupcakes. It took 45 minutes. And some clean up. As you scroll through, take a moment and soak in the love in each image and tell me it doesn’t melt your heart.
