Okaaaayy….some one PLEASE TELL ME how this is real life? How??? And how is this MY LIFE!? I still cannot believe that this career took me to PARIS. Pinch me. Because I am in awe of this reality every morning when I wake up. God. Is. SO GOOD.
Adrienne, with Merrime Bridal in Albany, OR, SAVED THE DAY! The dress we originally got for this occasion didn’t make it in time due to weather conditions. I reached out to Adrienne THE DAY BEFORE we left for Paris. She had this stunning gown, in Andrea’s exact size. You guys….it was meant to be!! I cried. I definitely cried. Thank you so dang much Adrienne! Your generosity and kind heart are so appreciated!! If you are a bride and need a dress – I highly recommend her!!!!
Sadie Blake Creative did a phenomenal job on this hand painted jean jacket with “forever and a day” on it – which is a saying passed down from Andrea’s parents!!
Andrea and Skyler are two people that are so dear to my heart. The kind of people that understand how busy life is but answer the phone and talk for hours regardless of how much time or life has happened in between. I still remember sitting there on the couch and hearing my phone go off….I look over and saw Andrea’s name…I believe the text read something along the lines of “Skyler says I’m jumping the gun but we want to renew our vows in Paris, in February, and have you photograph it!” and I may have thrown my phone across the couch, jumped up and shrieked with a million hand claps, (in true Denise fashion) hahaha!!! Even the POSSIBILITY was unreal to me.
So, after seeing how crowded the Eiffel Tower was at sunset, we knew we had to hit sunrise. We decided to do a sunrise shoot at the Eiffel Tower and then the next morning do their actual vow renewals in front of Notre Dame. (Same exact spot Skyler proposed to Andrea!) That blog is coming soon!!! 🙂 So up at 4 am, on the tram, in wedding attire, getting all the stares from people thinking we’re insane….I think I can speak for all of us when I say…IT WAS ALL WORTH IT!
A million thank you’s can never come close to how much gratitude I feel. But. Thank you, Andrea and Skyler for trusting ME to document this incredible moment in your life. It was truly an honor. I love you both so much!! xoxo!
