I’m going to do my best to type this out through the tears….
I received an email from Clay a couple days ago saying he’d like to do a photoshoot with their sweet puppy Walter but the real reason was because he was going to propose! He had the adorable idea to get a fake rose that was also a ring box – so we ran with that idea!
You guys. I was so nervous and I wasn’t the one proposing! Clay dropped the roses and the ring off with me the day before. (No we had never met before – but that is the amazing thing about being your authentic self on Instagram!) During the outfit change, I told Shelbi that a local florist had asked me if I could take some photos with these roses for her to post on her Instagram for some Valentine’s Day advertisement. Of course Shelbi, being the total sweetheart that she is, happily agreed. 🙂
We had fun posing her differently with the roses before Clay got down on one knee! And my impromptu decision to throw some petals in the air made the proposal set up SO beautiful!
I cannot say thank you enough to Clay for trusting me to document this special day. This is something that us women dream about for so long and being able to capture this was an absolute honor. I am so so so so grateful.
Sit down. And grab the tissues. 🙂
