Me: “WHAT IS THAT!?”

Sara: “….the bathroom?”

Me: “THAT TUB! Ummm…..you…in your dress…in that tub….with a bottle of champagne…”

Sara: “YES.”

Tucked back in Placerville, CA is this beautiful private vineyard owned by the brides godparents. (who are the ABSOLUTE sweetest couple ever!) From start to finish this wedding day was incredible. Sara was the most relaxed bride and after her hair took longer to curl than expected her exact words were “Oh well, the wedding can’t happen without me!” She was so light hearted and cheerful all day long – it was such a joy to document this day for them!

Sara and Ryan chose to do a first look and exchange their vows in private – which I highly recommend! They spent time soaking up their wedding day just the two of them, well….and me of course 😉 During the groom/groomsmen photos I mentioned that this ugly branch was in the way and Ryan just walked away to the barn…..and then returned with a HUGE ladder to solve the problem haha!! I mean, this branch was way up there you guys! Next time Ryan, just tell me you can’t reach it 😉

Oh, did I mention Sara and her girls were brought in by horse and carriage!!!?!?! Yeah. It was straight out of a fairytale! During the reception Sara was gifted Charlie…her childhood donkey, so of course we had to include him in some photos! We ended this incredible day with a sunset carriage ride through the vineyard. (is that sentence even real life!?!!?)

P.S. Elvis may or may not have made a special appearance during the reception as well!
